Developing the role of the primary science subject leader – Day One

If you are looking for ways to improve science teaching in your school then good subject leadership is where you should start.
You will investigate a range of ways to audit and lead science teaching, develop your role as a subject leader and identify new ways to help your pupils to explore and understand the world around them. You’ll benefit from working with other subject leaders to become confident in setting and managing processes for leading science effectively and to lead change in your school to support delivery of the primary curriculum. The second day of the course focuses on assessment and is delivered in parallel with Day 1 of the Leading assessment course.
A two-day course: 22 November 2019 & 13 February 2020.
