An Introduction to Philosophy for Children Day 2

An approach to thinking skills with a difference, Philosophy for Children allows not just the development of critical and creative skills, but also encourages caring and collaboration. It enables teachers to address key issues like bullying, respect and diversity and helps schools prepare children to negotiate life in the complex and diverse society they live in, encouraging conflict resolution through reasoning. This course is suitable for all primary school leaders and teachers and is particularly helpful for secondary school English/Humanities/PSHE/Citizenship staff
